Fishing Regulations:

Please Note: Possession limit means fish you have kept. This means on your fish chain, in your fridge or in your freezer. If you have three Walleyes in your fridge than you are only allowed to go out fishing and keep one more. This pertains to limits for all species of fish. It's best to eat your fish during your stay and at the end of your vacation keep fish you want to take home. Also note that you need to leave the skin on the fillets if you are bringing fish back over the border. This is for identification purposes. Fines for keeping over your limit of fish can be as high as $150 per fish.
